Young Lives Vs Cancer (CLIC Sargent)
Dominic Woods
This is a picture of my school friend Dominic Woods. We were in the same class from the very start of primary school. Dominic was a great footballer. In 2017 he started to have problems with his eyesight, and in January 2018 was told he had a brain tumour. Dominic lost his battle with cancer on 15th September 2018. CLIC Sargent really helped Dom and his parents during this time, so I wear their logo on my karting and car suits to raise awareness and support them in his memory.

Made By Dyslexia
I found out I was dyslexic when I was the second year of secondary school. It was a huge relief to finally know why I found some things so hard when everyone else didn't. Made By Dyslexia work to improve awareness of Dyslexia and Dyscalcula, especially among teachers. I don't know if my life would have been very different if my difficulties had been associated with dyslexia earlier in primary school, but for sure it would have made my school life less stressful.
